Lazy Turtle Trail

Carriacou is a great island and - to encourage our customers to explore other parts of our island - we have put together the 'Lazy Turtle Trail'. You won't manage it all in a day, or even in a week... this is the Caribbean, after all! But we hope that you'll venture out to discover the other attractions of our little piece of paradise.

1. Start your exploration of Carriacou with a drink or a meal
    at the Lazy Turtle - we'll give you a map briefing to set you
    on your way.
2. The Lambi Queen is a great place to hang out on a Friday
    night for a genuine Carriacou experience: local food and
    music.
3. At Paradise Beach, visit the Hardwood Bar, Sunset Beach
    Hotel, swim or snorkel at Sandy Island.
4. In Hillsborough, have a roti and get yourself a delicious
    picnic at Patty's Deli.
5. At the Roundhouse, check out the view, the hideaway
    beach, and a great menu.
6. Find the path down to Anse La Roche. Keep going, you'll
    get there eventually - the deserted beach is definitely
    worth it!
7. If you have plenty of energy, walk around the northern end
    of Carriacou, explore Mangrove Beach, and visit the
    Sunrise Bar in Windward.
8. After a drive down the east coast, check out the Cowfoot
    Inn and enjoy the view south towards Grenada.
9. Smuggler's Cove is good for snorkelling, but be careful of
    the current here.
